Breakfast and Tea Club - Wrap Around Care

At Brindishe Green we are happy to offer families the opportunity for their children to attend our Breakfast and Tea Club from September 2023.

The Breakfast and Tea club provides care before and after school for the children of Brindishe Green Primary School. We welcome children from Reception to year 6 and offer a safe, stimulating and happy environment where children are supervised by a small, committed, and professional staff team.

The Clubs are based within the school grounds, and we offer a homely and welcoming environment. Children have access to a range of play equipment during the sessions and can make choices about the activities and play that they want to participate in.

Breakfast Club

Our breakfast club opens from 7.45am until the start of the school day.

Offering your children the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and to enjoy a sociable breakfast, served between 7.45am and 8.15am. Children attending the breakfast club must arrive prior to 8.30am. A member of staff will escort all children attending the breakfast club to their classroom in time for registration.

Tea Club

Our Tea Club runs from the end of school until 6.00pm.

Tea will be served at 4:00pm.

The tea club is open every weekday during term time. Children are collected from their classroom at the end of the school day by the Tea club staff.

The children are given a healthy snack and can take part in a variety of activities.

Club prices

Breakfast club costs £6.00 per day (£30.00 per week).

Tea Club costs £14.00 per day (£70.00 per week).

Bookings and payment are due in advance via Horizons.

We ask that you do not turn up without advance booking, as it may result in your child/ren being turned away.

Late collection charge

There will be a late collection charge of £10 for every 10 minutes after collection time.

Sickness

If your child is unwell and will not be attending Breakfast or Tea club, you will still be charged for that session.

Who will be looking after my child/ren?

The Breakfast and Tea Club is managed by the Extended services Manager and run by employees of Brindishe Green School. The team provides a happy, stimulating, and caring environment for your children.

What will my Child/ren eat?

Radish buys locally, prepare lovingly, and cook and serve imaginatively. Their chefs regularly visit their partners to ensure all produce has been grown or reared sustainably. All meat is 100% British and Red Tractor Certified and the eggs and milk are organic. Furthermore, 95% of Radish’s creations are cooked from fresh, including bread, cakes, and sauces. There will be multicultural flavours across the menu, and place special importance on meeting all special dietary requirements.

Activities

There will be various activities for your child(ren) to participate in. These will include:

Arts and craft
Enterprise and theme activity
Quiet reading
Board games
Physical activity will take place in the playground, weather permitting

There will also be a quiet area for them to relax.

How are places allocated?

You can request a place by completing the registration form. Once you are allocated a space, you will receive a confirmation email from the Extended services' manager, only then the place will be secure.

All bookings are made in advance and are to be booked for a half-term at a time (or longer) as places are limited.

Places are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

If there are no spaces available, you will be placed on a waiting list.
